While it's pretty standard for twins to be attached at the hip as children, adulthood often presents challenges for siblings who once shared space in the womb. The older people get, the more their life paths tend to split in some fashion, and that just might be the case for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
According to OK! Magazine, a source recently claimed that Mary-Kate has been having a hard time adjusting to Ashley becoming a mother.
Earlier this year, the former Full House star and her husband Louis Eisner quietly welcomed their first child, a son named Otto. As Ashley embraces motherhood, Mary-Kate is reportedly "really struggling to accept this new version of her sister."
The source also claimed that Eisner is a point of contention for having supposedly created distance between the two sisters.
"It makes sense that she'd blame Louis because he's the one putting his foot down and letting her know the boundaries," they said of Mary-Kate's alleged irritation toward her brother-in-law.
The insider also claimed that Ashley is experiencing guilt over her sister's hurt feelings.
