While "Ghostfacers" isn't three, it is one of the first episodes in which the plot is mainly funny. In this episode, Sam and Dean run into the Ghostfacers for a second time when they're investigating deaths at a haunted mansion.
This episode is told from the perspective of the Ghostfacers themselves, with Sam and Dean starring as "side characters". What is the most comical about this take on Sam and Dean is that it's told from the absurd perspective of these fake ghost hunters that are attempting to make a reality show in the most ridiculously over-the-top way.
This is another episode in which Sam and Dean are seen from a different perspective. This follows the brothers as if they never started hunting and live normal, separate lives. They later find out that this is an illusion created by the angel Zachariah.
There is an underlying sadness in this episode because, in this version of their lives, the brothers aren't close, but their mother is still alive.
In this episode, when Bobby starts losing a gambling match run by a witch in which the currency is years of life, Dean steps in to save the day.
