10 The Formans & Kelsos Are Back Yard Neighbors

That '70s Show makes it clear from the beginning that the Pinciottis and Formans were next-door neighbors, but the homes of other characters were rarely shown. However, because Michael always arrived at Eric's house through the garage, one Reddit theory is that the Kelsos and Formans were backyard neighbors. This is supported by the fact that Hyde once stated that he had tried to jump the fence to get to Kelso's house, which wouldn't make much sense under any other circumstances.

The idea that Eric, Kelso, and Donna all grew up in such close proximity changes the perspective on their friendships.

9 Eric Was In A Coma Since Season 4

One of the darkest Reddit theories about That '70s Show is the idea that Eric Forman was actually in a coma for half the series. The concept comes from season 4, episode 15, "Tornado Prom," when Eric is late to pick Donna up from Prom because of a tornado that went through Point Place.

At one point in the episode, Red and Kitty are listening to a radio, and the announcer states after the tornado that a teen is in critical condition. Since That '70s Show's timeline only got more confusing from here, fans have theorized that Eric was the injured teen and that the rest of the show was a coma dream that ended in season 8 with his death.

8 Fez Never Existed In That '70s Show

Fez was always the most mysterious of the group in That '70s Show. No one knew where he had come from, and though he was an exchange student, he was never "exchanged back" (something Kitty pointed out as strange in That '90s Show). In all, Fez serves as little more than that bizarre comedic relief, which has led to the idea that he was never real. Instead, the gang of That '70s Show simply invented him (likely due to all their time in "the circle") and continued hallucinating that he was their strange candy-loving friend.
