Nicki Aycox, the former actor and Supernatural star, has sadly passed away at the age of 47 after a battle with leukaemia. The news was confirmed by her sister-in-law, Susan Raab Ceklosky, in a heartfelt Facebook post last week. Ceklosky described Aycox as "beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented, and loving," and revealed that she passed away with her husband, Matt Raab, by her side.
Ceklosky shared several photos of Aycox with her husband, nephews, and their dog Olive, capturing the happy moments they shared together.
However, Ceklosky did not disclose the exact cause of Aycox's death. In March 2021, Aycox announced on her Instagram page that she had been diagnosed with leukaemia. She initially thought she had COVID-19 in January and February, but her condition worsened, leading to the diagnosis.
Despite the difficult circumstances, Aycox remained positive, stating that she was doing well and fighting through chemotherapy.
Prior to Supernatural, Aycox appeared in various television shows and movies, such as Double Tap, Third Rock from the Sun, Boy Meets World, and Providence. She also had a role in The X-Files, which eventually led to her appearance in the film adaptation released in 2008.
He described her as a delight who delivered lines with eloquence and charm. Kripke admired how she could transform a simple word like "lackluster" into something legendary. Co-star Danny Pino, known for his role in Cold Case, expressed his heartbreak upon hearing the news.
Pino described Aycox's artistry as a beautiful, poetic dance, showcasing strength and vulnerability. The entertainment industry has lost a talented and beloved actress in Nicki Aycox. Her impact will be remembered through her remarkable performances and the love she shared with her family and friends.
