Recently, a keen-eyed fan noticed a mistake in season 9, episode 15, titled "The One With the Mugging," which quickly went viral. In this particular scene, Rachel rushes into Monica's apartment to share the news that Joey has landed an audition with a fictional A-list actor named Leonard Hayes, portrayed by Jeff Goldblum. As the camera pans to Joey, it appears that Rachel is standing next to him. However, fans soon noticed that it wasn't actually Aniston standing beside LeBlanc, but rather her stand-in. Interestingly, this was not the only editing error that slipped through the cracks. In episode 4 of the same season, titled "The One With the Sharks," eagle-eyed viewers saw a stand-in actress replace Rachel at the 12-minute and 20-second mark. Initially, Rachel is shown wearing a yellow shirt and sporting curly hair while sitting at a table with Monica.

However, when the camera shifts to Monica, a stand-in wearing a blue top and straight hair is visible on the bottom left side of the screen. After 17 years, the cast of Friends reunited for the HBO Max special, Friends: The Reunion, in May 2021.
