star Jodie Sweetin has been cast in a celebrity edition of the reality series . The show is in its 24th season and this season is being called . The series takes a bunch of people who aren't so great at cooking and has them compete with each other to improve their culinary skills.

Sweetin recently told that she saw flames coming out of her oven not too long ago. It wasn't entirely Sweetin's fault, though, as her fiancé happened to turn on the oven the day after pizza boxes had been left inside.

Luckily, the competitors on the series are divided into two different teams and each team is assigned a mentor to help teach them how to cook. Contestants are eliminated following cooking challenges until one is declared the winner. The winner receives $25,000 for the charity of their choice.

Sweetin posted on social media in 2018 that she needed help from her former co-star Andrea Barber in Barbar agreed to come over and show Sweetin how to brine it.

Sweetin went on to say that she had "no idea what that means... but it involves a bucket that says, 'Let's do this!' so it's gotta be good!" Proof that prior to her time on the series, Sweetin didn't know a whole lot about cooking.

Sweetin told that being on the competition show definitely but that she misses the tools she had on set that she doesn't have in her home kitchen. Also, she said that the dishes she learned to make on the series don't always interest her daughters, so instead of cooking herself, she makes suggestions to her fiancé.

"Really, I've become more of just the backseat chef that's critiquing what he's actually doing. That's not helpful," she said.

Sweetin also told that her former TV dad, Bob Saget, who passed away earlier this year would be proud of her for attempting the reality competition series. "Bob was always the super-proud dad. Even if we tried something and it wasn't great, he was just always like, 'You've got this.
