Criminal Minds is returning for a revival series at Paramount+, with some well-known faces from the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) reprising their roles in a brand new ten-episode run.The reboot, titled Criminal Minds: Evolution, kicks off a few years after the popular CBS's procedural bid a not-so-final farewell to fans. Premiered in 2005, Criminal Minds bowed out in 2020, in which the protagonists tried to decipher the innermost thoughts of serial killers.
As the reboot is just around the corner and will premiere next month, let's have a look at the original cast members who have made their way back to Quantico, Virginia — with at least two notable exceptions.
Paget Brewster is returning in the fan favorite role of BAU Unit Chief Emily Prentiss. The actress and singer will rock her natural, gray hair in Criminal Minds: Evolution, as she announced to fans in a picture shared on Twitter.
"I hope you're all excited for a slightly older, sassier, no filters, grey-haired Prentiss. And if you aren't, that's cool, just tell someone else," Brewster wrote in August this year.
