John Stamos' Full House co-stars laid it on thick in the 1990s, when the Tanner family dominated television.
Though Stamos was not present when his co-stars from the hit sitcom reunited at this weekend's 90s Con in Tampa, Fla. — which went on in compliance with certain SAG-AFTRA guidelines amid the ongoing union strikes — Dave Coulier shared a few memories on his behalf.
"Do you know John's nickname? Does anybody know?" Coulier asked the crowd during Saturday's panel, which also included Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Scott Weinger and executive producer Jeff Franklin.
"Mud," he revealed. "Because he used to put this crap in his hair all the time, and I said, 'Why don't you just throw mud in there? You could save some money.' And then I just started calling him Mud."
Bure also had some jokes on her Fuller House co-star. "John… The face that comes up on my phone when he calls is… It's not Carol Burnett, it's Carol Channing! That's the face that pops up when John calls.
Stamos was not the only cast member who was fondly discussed during their 90s Con panel. The group also reminisced on their time with late co-star Bob Saget — who died unexpectedly at age 65 on Jan. 9, 2022, after falling in his Orange County, Fla. hotel room.
"I'm still opening texts that he sent me, that's how many he sent me," Coulier revealed during Saturday's panel with his former co-stars.
Added Sweetin, "He would always sign all of his texts, 'By the way, it's Bob.' Like he would send a separate text that said, 'By the way, it's Bob.' [It became] a running joke."
