Supernatural not only provided Jared Padalecki with steady work for over 15 years but also led him to his wife, Genevieve Padalecki (formerly Cortese). The couple met on the set of the hit CW drama in 2008 and eventually became parents to three children: Thomas, Shepherd, and Odette. Before the birth of their first child, Jared expressed his love and devotion for Genevieve in an interview with Us Weekly.

He stated, "I do everything I can to be a classic father. If she wants ice cream, I get her ice cream. If she needs a foot massage, I give her a foot massage." He also mentioned that despite his busy work schedule, he always ensures that Genevieve has everything she needs when he is home.

As the years went by, Genevieve opened up about the challenges of maintaining their marriage with the demands of parenthood and Jared's frequent trips to Canada for work.

In an August 2019 blog post, she revealed that scheduling regular date nights was their way of reconnecting. Although they aimed for weekly dates, it often proved difficult. However, they were happy as long as they could spend quality time together twice a month.

Jared continuously showed his love for Genevieve, as evident in a PDA-filled Instagram post he shared in January 2018. Alongside a photo, he wrote a heartfelt message praising his wife and expressing his gratitude for sharing their lives together.

After being together for more than a decade, the couple made their first appearance as a married couple on the CW series Walker. The idea was presented to Jared and Genevieve during their 10th-anniversary dinner by the show's creator, Anne Fricke.

Jared suggested the idea to his wife, and although she had reservations, she ultimately agreed. Genevieve shared her concerns with Us Weekly, saying, "I was worried that people might assume it was Jared's idea or have preconceived notions.

" However, she decided to give it a chance. This lasting relationship between Padalecki and Cortese blossomed from their time on Supernatural to building a family with three children.
