The highly anticipated second season of the Yellowstone prequel series 1923 is set to deliver more drama for fans of the Dutton family. With Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren leading the cast, the show takes place during Prohibition and the Great Depression in Montana. Season 2 will consist of eight hour-long mini movies, with production set to begin in Spring 2023 at an estimated cost of $17 million per episode.
The plot is yet to be revealed, but the Season 1 finale left several unresolved cliffhangers, including the fate of Spencer Dutton and ownership of the Yellowstone ranch. All eight episodes of Season 1 are available to stream on Paramount+.
