Aside from evoking nostalgia, viewers in the comment section also expressed their desire to see another spin-off. star Dave Coulier (Joey) pushes his idea for the supposed — a new show that aims to honor the legacy of the late Bob Saget and Danny Tanner.
The series finale saw DJ, Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) walk down the aisle and marry their respective partners. Admittedly, it's a great send-off since the occasion also functioned as a family reunion, with many of the extended Tanner clan attending. However, it's also no secret that the sequel was saving several plot lines for season 6, which never happened.
Many of the original cast members have expressed their interest in reuniting to bring the Tanners back to the small screen again. However, not everyone is as enthusiastic as Coulier about the idea. John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis) has previously said that he is officially closing the door on the franchise, explaining that he doesn't want to do the series again without Saget.
Sweetin isn't as straightforward as her on-screen uncle, but she isn't entirely sold on the idea of returning as Stephanie just a few years after ended.

Just because there isn't any follow-up in the works doesn't mean that content is scarce about the franchise. Viewers can check out — one hosted by Coulier, and the other by Sweetin and Barber.
