In Hollywood, rumors and gossip can spread quickly. According to one of these reports, Elizabeth Olsen's sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, were fired from ABC's show in the 1980s by beloved actor and Full House star John Stamos. But why? Because they were acting like little kids.
It is true! Full House's beloved Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos) lost his cool when the young twins would not stop crying during one of the scene's shoots.
The actor admitted during an episode of the Good Guys podcast that the Olsen twins' constant sobbing was driving him insane and that he had them taken off the show. The television sitcom Full House (1987–1995) gave Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen their on-screen acting debuts as Michelle Tanner when they were young children.
The strong bond that Uncle Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos) had with his niece Michelle Tanner (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) was one of the special relationships in Full House. However, was the special bond the same off-camera?
During one of the scenes, Stamos discovered that Elizabeth Olsen's sisters were too whiny to work with, so they were abruptly fired during the first season.
Stamos acknowledged the same in 2015 when he said, as reported by People, to the Television Critics Association audience:
"It's sort of true that the Olsen twins cried a lot. It was very difficult to get the shot. So I [said], 'Get them out… !' That is actually 100 percent accurate. They brought in a couple of unattractive redheaded kids.
