Supernatural and Smallville are two popular TV shows that aired around the same time and share several actors. On Smallville, he played Lincoln Cole, a menacing character who kidnaps Lionel Luthor and torments him with puzzles and later captures Martha Kent.

Emmanuelle Vaugier played Madison in Supernatural, Sam Winchester's first real love interest after the death of his girlfriend.

Madison is a werewolf that Sam and Dean try to cure but to no avail. In Smallville, Vaugier played Dr. Helen Bryce, Lex Luthor's second wife, who plots against him and eventually meets her demise. Robert Picardo appeared in Supernatural as Wayne Whittaker Jr., a leprechaun posing as a UFO-specialist. On Smallville, he played Edward Teague, a lawyer and member of the Veritas society who plays a crucial role in the destruction of Krypton.
