John Stamos was initially upset with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for not joining the Full House reboot in 2016. He believed rumors that they disliked their childhood on the show, but it turned out to be false. The cast did not keep in touch with Mary-Kate and Ashley after the original show ended, but they had a close relationship with Bob Saget up until his passing in 2022. Bob had helped to keep the cast together after the show, and his death brought John closer to Mary-Kate and Ashley again.
They made peace by bringing him a frozen pork chop and sage, and they have remained close ever since.
