The upcoming season 21 of the popular crime procedural drama NCIS has been delayed due to strikes by the Writers Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild. The show, which has been a part of the CBS fall lineup since its debut in 2003, will not be airing in the usual fall season. It is unknown when NCIS season 21 will air, but it is expected to be either in early 2024 or in the 2024-2025 TV season.

The main cast members from the previous season are expected to return, including Wilmer Valderrama as Nick Torres. Mark Harmon, who left the series in season 19, may possibly return in a guest capacity.
