NCIS, the popular military procedural TV show and its many spin-offs, may have a future once the strikes in Hollywood end. The show, currently renewed for another season, is in limbo due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, causing delays in production. However, the executive producer believes that the show will continue as planned. In the meantime, the premiere of the spin-off NCIS: Sydney is set to happen soon. Other spin-offs will also face delays, possibly until Fall 2024. Despite this, the future of NCIS is considered safe.
