The actor behind Fernando is Juan Pablo Di Pace, an Argentine actor who just so happens to be fluent in Italian, in addition to Spanish and English. As an actor, his language abilities are a clear boon; his ability to speak different languages means he can portray characters from various places on the globe.

Fans might've been surprised, but they didn't really care. After all, it's Juan Pablo's ability to play literally anyone -- from a gay Greek wedding-goer to a womanizing Mexican drug dealer -- that has earned him a reputation in Hollywood.
