Before partnering with Bill Prady to create the award-winning series The Big Bang Theory, Chuck Lorre had already created several successful series. One of the most notable examples has to be Two and a Half Men, which ran on CBS from 2003 to 2015.
However, things turned sour after the leading star of the series, Charlie Sheen, found himself involved in several scandals and was ultimately fired from the show and replaced by Ashton Kutcher.
During his fallout, the former Two and a Half Men star claims that he's the reason why The Big Bang Theory was so successful, although he completely bashed his experience as a guest star on this popular series.
Charlie Sheen made a cameo appearance on The Big Bang Theory's second season.
In episode 4, titled "The Griffin Equivalency," Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and the rest of the gang go for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate his discovery of a planetary object finally being recognized. However, they end up cutting dinner short because Raj is acting entitled and over his head.
Ultimately, Raj enthusiastically shares with everybody that he'd be included in People Magazine's "30 Visionaries under 30 Years to Watch.
" Upon hearing this, Sheen, who plays a visitor of The Cheesecake Factory, tells Raj, "Yeah, call me when you're on the cover."
Although viewers found the actor's small cameo funny, Sheen absolutely hated his experience in The Big Bang Theory. In a 2015 interview, the actor claimed that this popular sitcom was totally "stupid" and "lame."
