As fans eagerly await Season 2, actor Brandon Sklenar is gearing up for another season and shedding light on what viewers can expect from his character.
Sklenar plays Spencer Dutton, the youngest son of , leads James and Margaret Dutton (Tim McGraw and Faith Hill). Spencer is raised by James’ older brother Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford) and his wife Cara (Helen Mirren) in the sequel, 1923.
Spencer was at a crossroads as the final episode of Season 1 aired in February 2023. Sklenar, on the other hand, is unconcerned about his character’s ongoing storyline. Instead, he’s looking forward to Spencer’s return. And the actor swears that it will live up to the hype.
“Structurally, going into it, we knew the story was bigger than it was originally intended to be,” Sklenar told Esquire. “There’s no way they could fit it all into one season.”
“I mean, there’s so much built into it with him getting home, and he has so much to fight for and so many people to defend. It’s going to be a powerful homecoming,” he added.
