One such monster is the Changeling, a creature from European mythology. Changelings replace stolen children and possess discolored skin, hollow eyes, and a tooth-filled rounded mouth. They appear human unless seen through their reflection.

The Changeling mother feeds on stolen babies, while the young Changelings feed on their mothers.

Although tragic in their actions, Changelings are not as formidable as other supernatural creatures. They possess strength superior to humans but can be defeated by fire or eliminating the Changeling mother. Ghosts and poltergeists are recurring supernatural entities in Supernatural. Ghosts are deceased spirits unable to move on to Heaven or Hell, while poltergeists are dangerous entities craving attention.
