Mariska Hargitay sprinted around Central Park on Wednesday while filming Law & Order: SVU with co-star Ice-T in New York City.

The 52-year-old actress wore her dark blue NYPD costume and had a gun drawn while filming an intense scene.

Ice-T, 58, was spotted taking a break on a park bench in between scenes wearing his police bulletproof vest and sunglasses.

Mariska and Ice-T shot a scene together with her in the lead as they tracked down a suspect.

The NBC legal procedural premiered in September 1999 with Mariska starring alongside 55-year-old Christopher Meloni.

Meloni left the spin-off of Law & Order after 12 seasons after a contract could not be reached.

Ice-T joined the popular show with stories 'ripped from the headlines' during it second season.

Law & Order: SVU was renewed in February for an 18th season and is the only remaining series in the franchise.

The original Law & Order was cancelled by NBC after its 20th season.

Law & Order: SVU follows NYPD detectives as they investigate and prosecute sexually based offenses.

Mariska after being cast in the show founded the Joyful Heart Foundation that provides support to women who have been sexually abused.

She has directed four episodes of the series and has been a producer since 2014.

The mother of three has been married since 2004 to actor Peter Hermann.
