After Fuller House ended with season 5, Coulier is revisiting the franchise with a new podcast, Full House Rewind. In a new interview with Yahoo! to promote it, he comments on Sweetin and Cameron's long-rumored conflict, saying that he has "always been Switzerland," meaning he maintains a neutral stance. However, he emphasizes that much like any ordinary family, the Full House cast tends to have their issues, which get eventually resolved.
Everybody kind of tells me, 'Oh, here's what she said.' But we're like a family, you know? We bicker, we argue, we call people out on their stuff. We have problems with each other, but at the end of the day, we love each other and we kind work through it. I mean, we've been through pickups, cancellations, births, deaths, marriages, divorces — the stuff that any family goes through.
In late 2022, news broke out that Sweetin and Cameron-Bure had a falling out due to their contradicting views on same-sex marriage. The issue started after Cameron-Bure made her controversial statement about "traditional marriage" being at the core of Great American Family. Her remarks quickly garnered various comments from the public and her peers.
