Supernatural actor Alexander Calvert has recently joined the cast of the spinoff series Gen V, based on the popular show The Boys. Calvert, known for his portrayal of Jack Kline in Supernatural, will now be taking on a new role in this highly anticipated show. Gen V follows a group of students who attend a superhero college managed by Vought International. The creators of the show have promised that it will have a similar tone to The Boys, including the same level of violence, bloodshed, and R-rated humor.

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters have been brought in as the showrunners for Gen V, and they will also be executive producers, along with the team behind The Boys. Discussing their approach to the spinoff, Fazekas and Butters stated that it will exist within the Vought Cinematic Universe while having its own unique tone and style.
