Television's long-running series "Supernatural" came to a close in 2020 after an eventful 15 seasons. Throughout the show, brothers Sam (played by Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (played by Jensen Ackles) encountered a remarkable array of demons, creatures, and supernatural beings. Possessions and shifting allegiances were not uncommon in the world of "Supernatural," as actor Alexander Calvert can attest to.
Calvert appeared in the show from 2017 to 2020, portraying more than one character. He began as Lucifer's Nephilim son, Jack Kline, and later took on the role of the torture demon Belphegor, a significant figure in Season 15 who possessed Jack's body. Calvert had already established himself as a seasoned actor before joining the cast of "Supernatural," having appeared in other popular shows such as The CW's "Arrow" and A&E's "The Returned.
Although it remains unknown what character Calvert will portray, his previous role in "Supernatural" suggests that he will seamlessly fit into the show's world of cunning superhumans empowered by Compound V.
Given that the creator of both "Supernatural" and "The Boys," Eric Kripke, is involved in the spinoff series, there has been previous crossover in casting between the two shows. Jensen Ackles, who played Dean Winchester in "Supernatural," will notably portray Soldier Boy in the upcoming Season 3 of "The Boys." With this in mind, it's safe to assume that Kripke has something special planned for Calvert in "The Boys" as well.
