Jared Padalecki might be known to most for his role in the Supernatural cast as Sam Winchester, but you might also recognize him for his roles throughout the early 2000s on shows like Gilmore Girls (2000-2007) as Dean, and films like New York Minute (2004) and House of Wax (2005).
“I still am grieving Supernatural. I really am. It was 15 and a half years,” Padalecki told Collider in 2021. “I met my wife on the show. I met my dear friend, and many dear friends. I really enjoyed Sam Winchester. So, I’m still grieving that process.
“Ultimately, Supernatural was such a big part of my life. There’s no real way to calculate it, and I don’t think I’ll ever really grasp that or make sense of it. But I love, love, love the show I’m doing now [Walker]. I love the character, I love the cast, I love our crew, and I love the stories we are setting out to tell.”
Since his hit role as Dean Winchester, Jensen Ackles has acted in series such as The Boys (2019-present), Big Sky (2020-2023) and The Winchesters (2022-2023), which is a prequel series to Supernatural, telling the origin story of Sam and Dean’s parents.
Ackles told Late Night with Seth Meyers of his time on Supernatural: “I spent birthdays and we spent holidays and we went through so much together as a crew and a cast that by the end of it, it was a really sad goodbye, but something that we all felt like we really earned.
