Supernatural's Best Spinoff Is Still A Sam Colt Western Prequel

If Supernatural wants to continue beyond the Winchester family, a Sam Colt prequel spinoff would be the best option. Supernatural had difficulty creating a successful spinoff due to the unique chemistry between Sam and Dean Winchester that made the original show so popular.

The two main attempts at spinoffs, Bloodlines and Wayward Sisters, both fell short and were ultimately scrapped. However, a new prequel spinoff called The Winchesters recently completed its first season, though it is uncertain if it will continue. To truly expand and explore new storylines, Supernatural should consider reviving the concept of a Sam Colt prequel.
