Upon Perry's untimely death, speculation arose about whether his glamorous assistant, Briana Brancato, was the mysterious "Erin".

However, it has now been revealed that Morgan Moses, a 37-year-old sober companion, was the person Perry had credited with saving his life. Moses, who Perry described as the kindest person in the world, had sat by his bedside for five months during his recovery from an exploded colon. Moses, who has been working as a full-time sober companion since 2018, possesses various skills such as therapeutic crisis intervention, mental health first aid, behavioral intervention, and nutritional counseling.

Previously, she worked as a website designer and graduated from Full Sail University in Florida.

Her social media presence indicates that she has also experienced her own struggles with addiction and journeyed towards sobriety.
